Decision support for offshore wind: earlier detection of threats to critical infrastructure, and maintenance logistics that account for weather and fleet limits.
We build AI-supported decision systems for the offshore wind sector, with two lines of work. The first is risk analysis for critical infrastructure: comprehensive assessment aimed at early threat detection and incident prevention, where what is being protected is human life, the environment and the stability of supply.
The second is optimisation of maintenance logistics, and specifically vessel use. Our decision support improves the planning of vessel activity under real weather conditions and addresses the fleet size and mix problem.
For an operator this means lower operating costs, future vessel orders specified on evidence rather than habit, and a stronger position in negotiations.
